Mansueto Library, University of Chicago
I visited my alma mater after almost 7 years and I had a strange urge to see the library where I spent most of my finals and many a night with friends with the intention of studying but more often just hanging out. (Yeah, I know the U of C is that kind of place.) Well I was pleasantly surprised to see that the there is a new wing of the main Regenstein library called the Joe and Rika Mansueto LIbrary which spaceship like in design is absolutely stunning especially on the beautiful day when I visited. If we had such a space when I was a student I'm sure I would have gotten a lot less done :)
Grand Canyon 2011
I visited the Grand Canyon for the first time in May 2011 with my wife and inlaws. Our stop there was only for the night and part of the next day but the trip was amazing. I had heard others say how vast the canyon is but I truly didn't believe it until I laid my eyes (and my lens) on it. These pictures do not do justice to this national treasure.
Bangladesh 2009
This album captures the highlights of my trip to Bangladesh in 2009. It was my first time traveling outside of the capital city Dhaka. I visited Cox's Bazaar, Rangamati, Capthai and Chittagong. I was fortunate to travel with a group of my in-laws. We saw the country by rail, jeep and bus. It was an eye opening experience for me and a welcome respite from the heat of Dhaka.
